A note on our new prices.

With the launch of our new coffee offerings, you'll see an adjustment in our pricing. We understand that price increases are never ideal, and we want to be completely transparent about why this is happening.

First and foremost, our mission has always been about more than just great coffee; it's about making a positive impact at every step of the journey. This price adjustment allows us to maintain our commitment to the Timorese farmers and their communities who are the heart of our mission. We believe in paying a premium price for their quality beans.

As you may have heard, the global coffee landscape is facing unprecedented challenges. We've seen a steep rise in world coffee prices directly impacted by extreme climate events and political instability in coffee-growing regions. On top of this, shipping and import fees have significantly increased, adding further pressure to our costs. As a sustainability-driven enterprise, we continue to invest in compostable packaging and labels because protecting our planet is non-negotiable. And importantly, we're dedicated to paying our staff a living wage, not just award rates, because we believe in supporting every member of our team.

While these global pressures have made a price adjustment necessary, we're also thrilled to announce that this change coincides with the launch of some exciting new coffees with fresh, vibrant flavours! We've been working hard to source unique and exceptional beans that we know you're going to love.

We’re also very excited to unveil a new look for our coffee packaging. The crocodile is very special to Timor-Leste, as their national animal, and we wanted to embrace that in our new packaging, bringing a fresher and more vibrant feel to our beans. We collaborated with Melbourne artist Carla Scotto, and we hope you love it as much as we do.

We value both ends of our supply chain, from the dedicated farmers who grow our coffee to you, our cherished customers.
We've worked hard to strike a balance, absorbing as much of these increased costs as possible while ensuring we can continue our ethical practices and bring you the highest quality, sustainably sourced coffee.
It's your continued support that allows us to do the work we do, fostering fair relationships with our farmers, investing in sustainable practices, and bringing you delicious fresh roasted coffee.
We are incredibly grateful for your understanding and loyalty.
Stay tuned for more details on our new coffee releases coming soon!

Kind Regards,

Alice and Jake
